  2. Ravitz Editor Description

  4. Ravitz Editor is an ASCII text editor for MS DOS computers. It is a mid sized
  5. (50 to 60K) but very powerful editor with integrated outlining and overviewing
  6. capabilities.

  8. RE includes find/change functions with options such as word, check case, ignore
  9. excluded lines, look only in marked area, all, and show all. It has block mark
  10. functions including overlay, merge, copy lines, line sort, delete, fill with
  11. block pattern, fill with numeric line pattern, shift horizontal, and shift
  12. vertical. There are also functions to help in writing documents such as word
  13. wrap, flow, flow with right justification, flow into list, center text, and
  14. line drawing.

  16. RE is configurable via profiles that are installed within the EXE file.
  17. Keyboard usage, default values, macros, menus, panels, and help text may be
  18. defined with a profile and assembled into a new RE.EXE. The macro facility has
  19. nestable macros with looping and conditional control.
